i've been dying to try this one! the call of fresh made pasta and photos of the lamb chops were calling me. the restaurant is so cute and the service was stellar! i was a little underwhelmed by our starters. we ordered the truffle arancini and the baked oysters. both sauces were really good but i didn't love the texture of the arancini itself and the oysters were small and a little overcooked. the bread that came with the oysters though was delicious and we dipping it in everything we could. we then had the alla vodka pasta. for homemade, the texture wasn't the best. it seemed like maybe it was sitting under a heat lamp because the outside pieces of pasta were a little over but the inside was perfect. the sauce also had the perfect amount of spicy kick which we just loved. we really wanted to add a protein to it but they wouldn't do it which was a little disappointing. we then shared the lamb rack which was cooked perfectly and again come with a terrific sauce! highly recommend the lamb!! of and the drinks were phenomenal. almost better than the food itself!

I have been wanting to come for for the longest time and finally had a chance to try it a few weeks ago. The restaurant was so pretty. I love that you can see the steeet through the huge windows. For appetizers we ended up getting the crudo and some risotto . The fish was so good! Would def try again. The risotto balls with the truffle sauce I feel left me wanting more, needed some more flavor. For dinner I ended up going with the campanelle pasta. It was a mushroom pasta with an oyster sauce. Wow! It was delicious. I savored my leftovers the next day. For dessert they had a peach dish . I was expecting something warm and torched . Not the case at all . I was kind of sad. Overall, the service was wonderful, very attentive. I was very happy with my entree.

Had a wonderful eating experience here on a Sunday evening with no reservation. Two of us dined and ordered cocktails and had the tasting menu. We both enjoyed it so much. Chef chose everything that we tried. We had truffle arincini balls, tuna, steak, two AMAZING pastas, and an amazing dessert. I would go back again and again. The food was SO good, service was incredible, and the vibe inside the restaurant was clean, modern, and nice.

Osteria Lupo was divine. The service was wonderful and the overall restaurant was nice with lots of natural light but good ambiance. We went for our anniversary and every single thing we got for the most part was phenomenal. We started with the arancini, tuna crudo and chargrilled oysters. The arancini was INCREDIBLE, didn't even snap a photo it was gone so quick. Tuna crudo is my absolute favorite and theirs did not disappoint. The oysters were good but just a littttle too oystery for me but we got more bread and I was happy. For our entrees, I had the hanger steak with potatoes and salsa verde-- DIVINE, and my partner had the Radiatori pasta with Louisiana blue crab-- DELICIOUS I also drank two dirty gin martinis and their olives are so fresh and amazing I wanted to take home a jar. Overall, fabulous experience, giving 5 stars but I have to say the tables are a bitttt too close together for comfort. Would definitely go back/recommend!

I am a sucker for homemade pasta. And the lamb... what??!! Just perfect. I love the octopus appetizer and the cocktails. The Manhattan is on point. Service is kind, yet not quite [yet] New Orleans' professional. The feel of the larger room is surprisingly intimate. The wood fired oven is gorgeous. An authentic Italian meal in a romantic, beautifully-renovated building.

Lively Italian restaurant with great food, a cool bar, and a fun atmosphere. You know a place is good when you walk in and everyone is talking loudly, laughing, and having a good time. I absolutely over-ordered, got the arancini, the red shrimp, and the grilled oysters. All were really delicious with the shrimp being my favorite. The oysters had more of a mussel flavor to them and I almost mistook the dish for escargots. For entrees, ordered the mushroom pasta and ribeye. The pasta was amazing, great flavors and hardy mushrooms which add a ton of texture. The ribeye was really good...not sure if it's 75$ good so might avoid that on future visits. The server was great but would have liked a little more help with the wine pairing. The one recommended didn't exactly fit. Overall a really good experience and believe it or not I didn't try everything on the menu so will be back for the rest.

It's been a while since I've left an establishment feeling speechless! Hats off to the chef and all the staff at Osteria Lupo. They've done an outstanding job creating the perfect ambiance with dishes that are equally amazing. I came on a Friday night and it was a packed house, but the service did not lack one bit. We received our drinks and food very quickly. As an appetizer, I ordered the royal red shrimp: very large and succulent. The sauce was perfectly crafted and did not overwhelm the shrimp. My entree was the Spaghetti alla Chittara; not spicy at all despite its description, and it was very delicious! Perhaps the sauce could've been a teeny bit more rich and less oily, but it didn't ruin the dish that way. My friend ordered the Radiatori and literally inhaled it, she had no complaints either. This is a staple Italian restaurant here in New Orleans, and I cannot wait to return!
